Tecumseh man accused of hedge clipper assault

TECUMSEH - Trenton Slama, 27, of Tecumseh is charged with assault by strangulation, terroristic threats and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony on June 14.
A Johnson County sheriff’s deputy was called to a Sherman Street residence. A woman described repeated assaults and threats not to tell investigators.
The accusations include that Slama pinned her down with a knife to her throat and also attempted to use hedge clippers to cut off her fingers.
AUBURN - In a separate Nemaha County case, Danelle Westling, 46, of Auburn is charged with terroristic threats on June 9.
Nemaha County sheriff deputies were dispatched to a Schneider Avenue apartment on a report of a nude female outside. An arrest affidavit says Westling made threatening comments to EMTs and deputies.
FALLS CITY – Richardson County has issued an arrest warrant for Ian Ashworth, 27, as part of the sheriff’s office investigation into catalytic converter thefts.
Ashworth, who had a St. Joseph address at one point, is charged with theft in October of 2022.
The sheriff’s office investigation began in October and concluded in December of 2022.
TECUMSEH - Emily Oenbring, 40, of Steinauer is charged in Johnson County with possession of methamphetamine on April.
A Johnson County sheriff’s deputy arrested her following a Highway 50 traffic stop.
