One dead in Cairo structure fire
A woman was found dead in a structure fire in central Nebraska.

CAIRO, Neb. -- A woman was found dead in a structure fire in central Nebraska.
Officials said the Cairo Fire Department was sent to 8788 140th Rd. around 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday for a reported structure fire.
Firefighters reported seeing heavy smoke coming from the home. There was one person that was reportedly inside.
According to authorities, 86-year-old Shirley Alber, of Cairo, was pronounced dead at the scene due to the fire.
The State Fire Marshal Agency said the fire was concluded to be an accident and was electrical.
The fire was put out by CFD, Wood River Fire Department, Dannebrog Fire Department, Boelus Fire Department, Hall County Attorney’s Office, Hall County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Fire Marshal Agency.
