Ottemann, Lueders families to receive flags

JOHNSON - Martin Luther Lutheran Church in rural Johnson is hosting the 2023 patriotic worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 21.

A video interview with World War II veteran Herb Lueders, recorded before his death will share his wartime experience as a radarman.

Deceased veterans of the past year will be listed and family and friends asked to stand as the veteran’s name is shown.

The family of Harlan Ottemann, a Vietnam War veteran, and the family of Herb Lueders will receive flags folded by the military honor guard.
