OMAHA, Neb. -- A woman was arrested Sunday morning for reportedly killing a man in Omaha.

The Omaha Police Department said officers were sent to the area of 10th St. and Capitol Ave. around 1 a.m. for a 911 call of a shooting. 

Officers said they found 23-year-old Gom Gout outside with a gunshot wound. The Omaha Fire Department reportedly took him to a nearby hospital where he later died at.

According to authorities, they found 24-year-old Keloni Jones, of Omaha, walking in the downtown area. Jones reportedly matched the physical description of the suspect and was taken into custody.

OPD said Jones was charged for second-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony. She was booked at Douglas County Corrections.

The investigation is ongoing.
