Omaha woman dies after being ejected from vehicle during accident
OMAHA, Neb. -- A 37-year-old Omaha woman is dead after a single-vehicle accident that happened Wednesday night.
The Omaha Police Department said that 37-year-old Tiffany Brayman died at the hospital.
Brayman was being treated at the hospital after being ejected from a vehicle, according to police.
Authorities said that Brayman was involved in an accident that happened Wednesday around 8:10 p.m.
Officers said the single-vehicle personal injury accident happened at Carter Lake Shore Drive and Cornish Blvd.
According to OPD, a 2000 Ford F150 was going north on Carter Lake Shore Drive when it left the road and rolled.
Officials said that Brayman, the passenger, was ejected and taken to a local hospital by Omaha Fire Department Medics.
OPD said the driver fled on foot.
Police said they are investigating speed, alcohol, and lack of seatbelt use as contributing factors.
