Storm produces tornadoes, baseball sized hail

NEBRASKA CITY - Thunderstorm cells triggered tornado warnings and hail from the Kansas border into western Iowa.
The public reported 2.25" hail at Auburn, which is baseball sized.
A tornado warning was issued for Nebraska City as a wall cloud crossed the area. Otoe County Emergency Management is preparing to conduct a damage assessment this evening.
One inch hail was reported at Hamburg and two-inch hail in Mills County near Emerson.
A trained spotter reported golf ball sized hail 1 mile south of Union on Highway 75.

OMAHA - The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Fremont County, Iowa, and Cass and Otoe counties in Nebraska until 6:15 p.m.
Radar indicated a storm southwest of Tabor at 5:08 p.m.
6:08 p.m. - golf ball sized hail on Kansas border from Marysville to Beattie., Also near Seneca. Heading northwest toward DuBoise, Humboldt.
A trained spotter reported golf ball sized hail 1 mile south of Union on Highway 75.

Spotter - 1.75" 5 NW Thurman
5:51 p.m. - 1.25" at Marshall, Kan., cell headed toward Pawnee City and Table Rock.
