OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Heavy smoke was seen coming from an Omaha house fire Saturday morning.

According to the Omaha Fire Department, crews were called out at 9:37 a.m. to a home near 75th and Blondo Street.

Firefighters arrived and went inside, finding a heavy fire in the basement that had spread into the attic. Crews had to withdraw from the home due to difficulty accessing the fire. The blaze was eventually brought under control and crews continued to extinguish hot spots.
