Scout proposes flag pole project at cemetery

SYRACUSE - The Syracuse City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at city hall.
The agenda includes a flag pole project at the cemetery, fireworks at the county fair and building permit fees.
A Boy Scout project is proposed for the Syracuse cemetery. Kaden Knake is asking for Keno funds to financially contribute to a flag pole improvement project.
An application for a conditional use permit for Little Rivers Edge RV park will be considered. Ryan Rutar and Devlin Limbach are seeking a conditional use permit for a doubled sided sign at the entrance of the RV park located at 2671 J rd.
Mike Rudolph from the Otoe County Ag Society is seeking approval of a fireworks show after the Otoe County Fair dance, to take place on the Frontier Cooperative property.
The agenda also include discussion of waivers for building permit fees for the Downtown Revitalization applicants.
A closed session is scheduled regarding a building permit violation on Mohawk Street.
