OMAHA - The red flag warning for southeast Nebraska is in effect until 8 p.m. on Saturday due to wind and low relative humidity.

Affected areas include Cass, Otoe, Johnson and Pawnee counties.

South winds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts up to 30 mph are forecast with humidity as low as 15 percent.

The red flag warning means critical fire weather conditions are occurring and could contribute to extreme fire behavior.
