Prison ordered after attempted break-in at Antiquarium
Lincoln man convicted of obstruction of a peace officer

AUBURN – Steven Koebel, 35, of Lincoln was sentenced to two years in prison for attempted burglary at the Antiquarium Bookstore in Brownville and obstruction of a peace officer in November of 2020. He was also ordered to pay $675 in restitution.
The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office investigated a break-in of the old school in Brownville and deputies told the court that Koebel left the scene against orders and was later found hiding nearby.
Charges regarding the theft of a vintage cash register were dropped.
