NEBRASKA CITY - Nebraska City police report an accident involving a pedestrian March 2 near First Corso and 11th Street at 3:28 p.m.

Investigators say a mirror on a Ford pickup driven by Zachary Hawley of Brock made contact with a pedestrian, who was transported to the hospital with injuries to his face, right knee and right ankle.

An accident report says the pickup could not see the pedestrian in the crosswalk because his view was blocked by a large SUV in the turning lane.
