NEBRASKA CITY – Police say a Nebraska City woman was found in possession of methamphetamine after driving off from a gas station with the pump nozzle hanging from her gas tank.

Amber Jelken, 24, is suspected of possession after midnight and criminal mischief for the damaged gas pump at NP Mart.

In an arrest affidavit, police say they searched a zippered wallet in Jelken’s Jeep on March 8 and found methamphetamine. Police say Jelken directed their attention to the gas nozzle in the back seat of the vehicle.
