Peru State advances in national tournament
Game Day: Bobcats play third-seeded Jamestown today
PERU – Peru State men’s basketball exceeded 100 points for the fourth time this season and defeated Mayville State in the first round of the NAIA national tournament 101-92.
The Bobcats advance to the second round to play third-seeded Jamestown at 6 p.m. today. The winner will earn a post in the Round of 16 in Kansas City.
Jamestown advanced with an 81 to 70 win over Bethel, Kan.
Oklahoma Wesleyan defeated Concordia 72 to 70 on Tuesday.
