Bond set for Nebraska City man accused of sexual assault
Ziskey says there is no physical evidence mentioned in arrest affidavit

NEBRASKA CITY – Don Davis, 65, of Nebraska City is charged in Otoe County with sexual assault alleging unwanted touching on Jan. 27.
Special prosecutor Tyler Loontjer of Sarpy County asked the judge for a bond of $250,000.
Defense Attorney Michael Ziskey told the judge that there is no evidence mentioned in the arrest affidavit in support of the charge except the alleged victim’s statement. He said Davis has "absolutely no criminal record."
Judge Tricia Freeman set bond at $50,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for her to decide if a crime has been committed.
Davis faces up to 50 years in prison on the charge filed by the Otoe County Attorney’s Office after an investigation by the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office.
