NEBRASKA CITY – A Talmage man is accused of keeping a package that a sheriff’s deputy suspects was misdelivered to him.

Stuart Miller, 33, is charged with felony shoplifting in connection with an iPhone 14 pro, screen protector and wireless phone charger that UPS reported as delivered on Feb. 28.

An Otoe County Sheriff’s Office investigation included a photo line-up. An arrest affidavit says the UPS driver identified Miller as the person he delivered the package too in error. The package was supposed to go to a neighbor, who told investigators she went to neighbor’s residences asking if they had received the package.

Miller denies receiving the package, valued at $1,672.
