Brownville man charged with assault
Stun gun used to free deputy from headlock
AUBURN - A Brownville man is charged in Nemaha County with assault on officers Feb. 25.
Court records say a Nemaha County sheriff’s deputy responded to the Nemaha County Hospital where a man was reportedly leaving the hospital to walk home in 10-degree weather.
An arrest affidavit says there was a struggle between Charles Sesna, 24, and two deputies outside of the hospital and a later struggle between Sesna, deputies and Lincoln police.
The affidavit says a deputy used a stun gun against Sesna outside of the hospital when Sesna held a deputy in a headlock.
