Suspect in custody for alleged connection to Omaha shooting

The Omaha Police Department recently arrested a man for his alleged role in a shooting on Wednesday.

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha Police Department recently arrested a man for his alleged role in a shooting on Wednesday.

Officers said they worked with the Council Bluff Police Department to arrest 27-year-old Kyser Clark on Thursday. 

According to authorities, Clark was at a hotel in Council Bluffs.

OPD said Clark is booked at the Pottawattamie County Jail. He is reportedly facing gun charges and being a fugitive from justice. The Omaha charges are pending.

Officials said Clark is allegedly connected to the shooting at All Nations Grocery Liquor and Tobacco on Wednesday. The shooting reportedly resulted in a 33-year-old man being taken to a local hospital for a gunshot wound and was in critical condition.
