Richardson County theft investigation leads to arrest on delivery charges
FALLS CITY – The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a suspected drug dealer during a theft investigation.
A Feb. 7 press release says deputies served a search warrant in Falls City and recovered stolen property.
Sheriff Rick Hardesty says deputies also found a zip-lock bag with suspected methamphetamine and returned to a county judge for additional authority to search the premises.
The press release says 16 grams of methamphetamine and about a pound of marijuana was found in the subsequent search.
John Pohlman of Falls City is suspected of possession with intent to deliver 10 to 27 grams of meth, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of Dextroamphetamine.
The sheriff’s office says Pohlman could be subject to a habitual criminal charge.
