NEBRASKA CITY – The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office reports a roll-over crash near Palmyra on Wednesday.
A press release says deputies are investigating a crash involving a SUV and pickup truck.
The SUV, driven by 46-year-old Jennifer Maher of Adams, was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of highways 43 and 2. Her SUV was sideswiped by a southbound pickup truck driven by 38-year-old Charles Kramer of Nebraska City.
The pickup continued through the highway intersection, crossed Highway 2 and rolled several times in a field.
The sheriff’s office says Kramer was medically cleared at the scene and arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Maher was uninjured.
Kramer was fined $150 for leaving the scene of an accident in June.
