Probation order for stalking
Iowa man agrees to restitution for security cameras
NEBRASKA CITY- Otoe County District Judge Julie Smith sentenced an Iowa man to two years probation for stalking his ex-girlfriend.
The judge said although 48 year-old Nicholas Walker of Council Bluffs has no criminal record his actions threatened a Nebraska City woman.
Public Defender Michael Ziskey said Walker was looking for closure to the relationship. Otoe County Attorney Jennifer Panko- Rahe said she was concerned about a firearm found in Walker’s car.
Ziskey said Walker had an Iowa concealed carry permit and the gun was not displayed or used during the Feb. 5 incident.
Walker agreed to pay $240 dollars of restitution for the security cameras the victim installed.
