Freezing rain possible after 3 a.m.
Drivers Thursday morning could face slippery conditions

OMAHA - Winter weather advisories were issued Wednesday for 40 Nebraska counties with forecasts of mixed precipitation, snow accumulations and freezing drizzle for portions of Nebraska from midnight tonight until 6 p.m. Thursday.
A flood warning was issued for the North Platte River at Lewellen due to an ice jam.
As of Wednesday, most of southeast Nebraska, southwest Iowa and northwest Missouri was not included on the hazardous weather map. However, there is a 90 percent chance of a wintry mix Thursday and a slight chance of freezing drizzle after 3 a.m. tonight.
The highest chance of snow and freezing rain Thursday is before 9 a.m. Rain or freezing rain is forecast between 9 and 10 a.m. Some ice accumulation is possible.
