Vape Town reports employee theft

SYRACUSE – A felony theft charge has been filed against a former employee of Vape Town in Syracuse.

Haleigh McDonald, 35, had worked for the store for just three days before managers notified Otoe County sheriff's deputies about missing inventory.

An arrest affidavit says a store manager went to McDonald’s residence in Syracuse and recovered 148 items totaling $3,492. The store says many of the items had been opened and can not be sold.
