Man charged with sexual assault of girl he met on social media

NEBRASKA CITY -  A Lincoln man is charged in Otoe County with sexual assault of a minor he met on social media.

Antonio Jones, 22,  is accused of telling a 13-year-old girl that he met through Snapchat that he was 17 years old. An arrest affidavit says Jones’ girlfriend confronted the Palmyra teen and told her Jones’ true age.

An Otoe County Sheriff’s Office investigator attended a forensic interview of the girl at the Child Advocacy Center.
