New meth charge after man stopped while pushing bicycle
Deputy says illegal drugs found in shoe insole during jail search
AUBURN – An Auburn man awaiting trial in Nemaha County on a meth possession charge is facing new charges.
Brandon Sutton, 26, was originally charged with possession on July 29
Court records say a sheriff’s deputy saw Sutton pushing a bicycle on Road 730 on Sept. 24. The deputy says he found a pipe in Sutton’s pocket on the road and meth in the insole of his shoe during a jail search.
Sutton is scheduled for a Dec. 7 court appearance on the original charge.
