OPD looking for suspect in parking garage shooting

The Omaha Police Department is looking for the suspect who shot two teens in a parking garage Wednesday morning.

OMAHA, Neb. -- Authorities released additional information on a shooting that injured two teenagers in an Omaha parking garage Wednesday morning.

The Omaha Police Department said a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old were injured in the 1705 block of Douglas St. around 8:30 a.m.

According to OPD, when officers arrived, they found the two teens suffering from gunshot wounds.

It was reported that Omaha Fire Department medics transported the victims to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

OPD said they determined that a black male with short wavy hair, 5'8" and 120 lbs. Officials also said that the male was wearing all black clothes.

Authorities said that the suspect approached the victims and three other juveniles in the parking garage. 

Officials said that the suspect fired multiple rounds at the group and left the area.

This is an ongoing investigation.
