TECUMSEH - A Johnson County judge has dismissed lawsuits between former Nebraska governor candidate Charles Herbster and State Sen. Julie Slama.

An order filed Thursday says the action comes from a joint stipulation from both parties to dismiss.

Herbster filed the lawsuit against Slama in April denying her claim that he groped her at a Republican fundraising dinner in 2019.

Slama counter-sued saying Herbster reached up her skirt and touched her without consent.

Herbster complained that Slama made false allegations out of political motiviation. Slama’s countersuit said Herbster was trying to victimize her again with the defamation suit.
