(Peru, Neb.)--Head men's basketball coach Bob Ludwig announced the completion of his coaching staff with the hiring of Damion Witty and Brody Anderson.

Originally from Ohio, Witty comes to Peru after most recently serving two years as a graduate assistant at Webber International in Florida (NAIA). Prior to that, he worked as a marketing intern at Kent State University where he completed his bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a minor in business. He was most recently at Webber International; he has spent time as a basketball skills development trainer in the Toledo area.

Anderson arrives on campus as a graduate assistant with several years' experience as a teacher in the Minnesota public school system in his home state. Most recently, he was a varsity assistant at Harris-Lake Park High School. Prior to that, Anderson worked with MN Nice AAU, Eagles United AAU, and Marshall Hoops Club. He will be pursuing his masters in Sport and Recreation Management at Wayne State.

Regarding the completion of his staff for the 2022-2023 season, Coach Ludwig had this to say:

 "We are thrilled to add these two coaches to our staff. Both have hit the ground running in a short amount of time and will be extremely valuable in the academic and athletic development of our student-athletes," said Ludwig.

The men's basketball team will open its season at home on Saturday, October 29, vs Morningside with tip-off set for 4:00 p.m.
