Judge orders $10,000 in drug stamp tax
Florida man ordered to pay restitution after packaged marijuana found in trunk

NEBRASKA CITY – Gary Hudson, 62, of Hallandale Beach, Fla., was sentenced to a $1,000 fine for possession of more than a pound of marijuana and ordered to pay the state $10,000 in restitution for possession without a tax stamp on April 26.
Hudson was arrested after an Otoe County sheriff’s deputy conducted a Highway 2 traffic stop and found 68, one-pound packages of marijuana in the trunk. The packages were described as vacuum-sealed and labeled.
Manuel Paz, 31, of Pembrokes Pines, Fla., is set for a pretrial hearing on Nov. 7.
