GLENWOOD – The Mills County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with the case of a body found in the Missouri River on April 23.

The remains of a man were found north of the Highway 370 bridge that connects Nebraska to Iowa. The state medical examiner helped identify some body tattoos.

They include:

 

  • Right side of back – a large skull/face
  • Shoulder blade – a  skull/face with ram like horns and a goatee
  • Right shoulder blade – a  design with multiple curved points, possibly flames
  • Right calf – a  design which possibly, at one time, included an animal image as teeth/fangs are possibly present
  • Right side of chest – a  red geometric shape
  • Right foot – Large geometric shape resembling a compass or star with four points with a face in the middle
  • Right shoulder – images of people. Faces visible
  • Right side – Red geometric shape. A long red line with red ring at the top.
