OMAHA, Neb. - Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash.

Omaha Police said Tuesday morning that 30-year-old Joseph M. Zadina, of Omaha, died at an area hospital.

Around 7:25 p.m., officers said they responded to a personal injury crash at Saddle Creek Road and Hamilton Street.

Police said the investigation revealed that a 2014 Jeep Wrangler was southbound on Saddle Creek Road and began to turn eastbound onto Hamilton.

Officials said the Jeep was struck by a northbound 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The motorcyclist was transported to Nebraska Medicine by Omaha Fire Department medics. Shortly after arrival, the motorcyclist died in surgery.

Police say charges are pending against the other driver, who is 30 years old, though those charges have not yet been officially confirmed.
