OPD: Teen arrested for assault man with gun
Authorities arrested a teen in connection to a Thursday night shooting they are investigating.

OMAHA, Neb. -- Authorities arrested a teen in connection to a Thursday night shooting they are investigating.
The Omaha Police Department said the shooting happened Sept. 8 around 10:27 p.m. and officers responded to the 5500 block of north 35th St. for the incident.
According to the OPD, officers found the victim, a 47-year-old man, suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Officials said they found the teenage female suspect who was still at the location of the shooting.
OPD said the suspect was ultimately booked into the Douglas County Youth Center for first-degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony, possession of a defaced firearm, and possession of a handgun by a minor.
This is an ongoing investigation.
