"Peru State traveled to Northwest Missouri State University today and competed against some strong NCAA teams. Temperatures for the women's race were mid 80s and sunny with some shade but not a lot," said coach Cole.
Cole added…
"Elevation changes were long and gradual with some flats mixed in. Women race started at 6:03. Temperatures were a bit cooler (low 80s) and dropping when the men's race started at 6:40 and the shade from trees was a little more prevalent."
The Peru State cross country team will compete again in a few Saturdays on the 17th at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invite in Lincoln, Nebraska hosted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The women will race at 10:00 a.m., while the men will race at 10:45.
