Roxanne Rochester, age 61 of Glenwood, IA

Roxanne Kay Rochester, age 61 of Glenwood, IA, died Friday, August 26, 2022  at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs following a brief illness.  Roxanne was born August 16, 1961 in Shenandoah, IA to Merle Eugene Rochester and Esther Irene (Giles) Rochester Staley.  Roxanne was a lifelong resident of the Glenwood Resource Center.

 

Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents; brother Dale Staley; sister, Shirley Jefferis; and her brother-in-law, Ronald Williams. She is survived by 2 sisters, Norma Williams of Tabor, IA, and Irene Whittier and husband Reggie of Auburn, ME; brother, Darrell Staley and wife Janie of Des Moines, IA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Graveside Services for the interment of ashes will 11:00 AM Saturday, September 17, 2022 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah, IA with Pastor Darrell Hopp of the Bartlett, IA Community Church officiating.  There will be no viewing or visitations.  Memorials will go to the Family.  The Marshall Funeral Chapel in Tabor, IA is in charge of arrangements.
