Ambassador Wellness Center Announces New Ownership

Nebraska City, NE - Ambassador Wellness Center, LLC, has announced that Travis Gillespie and Kevin Gray are the new owners of the community fitness center, renamed as GG Wellness Center.
Since opening in March 1998, Timothy and Sally Juilfs have owned and operated Ambassador Wellness Center. Over the last twenty-four years, the wellness center has consistently served approximately 1,700 members per year from southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
“The wellness center was built to serve families, and this community has supported it so well,” stated Sally Juilfs, President. “The focus has always been to create a welcoming environment and provide a wide variety of services, equipment, and classes to meet the needs of each member, regardless of his/her personal fitness goals.”
In February 2021, Travis Gillespie was hired as the director of operations for Ambassador Wellness Center. Shortly thereafter, Kevin Gray was named the fitness and marketing coordinator. Gillespie directs the day-to-day operations, including team member engagement, equipment maintenance, and property management. Gray collaborates with members to develop personalized exercise and nutrition plans, develops kids programming, and directs the group fitness and personal training programs.
“Travis and Kevin have done an outstanding job of bringing new ideas to life at Ambassador Wellness Center, and we are excited to see them to continue to grow and evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of the members,” explained Juilfs.
Gillespie and Gray plan to expand the wellness center’s beauty and wellness spa offerings, adding to the current line up that includes massage therapy, intravenous infusions, and supplements. Another focus will be on improving mental health, as the wellness center will be teaming up with Complete Behavioral Health to offer personalized counseling and behavioral therapy. The wellness center will also soon be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to accommodate the schedules of all members.
“The wellness center has a reputation for providing superior care to its members, and that is not going to change” stated Kevin Gray. “We are focused on our members and growing services that are important to them and bring value to their life.”
