FALLS CITY – The Richardson County Board approved sidewalk repair at the courthouse and agreed to pursue courthouse roof replacement at a Tuesday meeting.

Prochaska & Associates are putting together a bid package for the courthouse roof replacement.

The board voted 2-0 to approve a $46,200 change order to the retaining wall restoration project to include sidewalk on the east, south and west sides of the courthouse.

Commissioners also awarded $97,157 of ARPA funds to Drainage District No. 7.

Commissioners approved an oversized or overweight permit to State Tractor Trucking of Shawnee, Kan., for 702 Road east of Highway 73 south to 656 Avenue and north on 656 Avenue to 704 Road to a job site entrance.

The sheriff reported 20 inmates at the county jail and 19 inmates at the Washington County jail in Blair.
