Man charged with escape while on work release
AUBURN – An arrest warrant has been issued for an Auburn man who is suspected of not returning to the Nemaha County jail from work release on July 23. He had been approved work release for a construction job.
Travis Graber, 21, was sentenced to 60 days in jail for assault in December of 2021.
Court records say Graber was arrested on allegations that he punched his father.
In a separate case, a Lincoln man is charged in Nemaha County with felony terroristic threats after an incident July 1 at a Schneider Avenue apartment.
An arrest affidavit says neighbors came to the aid after hearing yelling inside an Auburn women’s apartment. Witnesses say 46-year-old Ryan Buxton left the apartment, but threatened to come back and kill the woman and the neighbor.
