Three-vehicle accident in Cass County, no injuries

PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. -- Authorities in Cass County responded to a multi-vehicle accident Wednesday evening.
Cass County Sheriff Deputies and Plattsmouth Fire and Rescue said a three-vehicle accident happened on July 27 around 5:00 p.m. on Highway 75 and Osage Ranch.
According to authorities, a GMC, driven by a 41-year-old, was stopped on Highway 75 and waiting for other vehicles to turn onto Osage Ranch. It was reported to police that the GMC was struck from behind by a Nissan Sentra that was driven by a 17-year-old.
Officers said the impact of the Nissan Sentra hitting the GMC caused the rear end of the Sentra to drift into the oncoming lane and hit the side of a Nissan Rogue that was driven by a 55-year-old.
According to the report, there were no injuries, and seatbelts were used by three of the four people involved.
Officers said speed and alcohol were not a factor in the accident.
The accident is still under investigation.
