GREENWOOD, Neb. -- One woman was killed and three others were injured in a crash late Wednesday night.

According to Greenwood Fire Chief Mark Sobota, it happened south of Highway 6 just north of Greenwood. 

Chief Sobota said there were three vehicles involved. He said an eastbound Hummer crashed into another eastbound car. One person was killed, another was taken to a Lincoln hospital and two others were treated at the scene. 

The driver of the car, 42-year-old Tammy Callaway of Greenwood, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the Hummer was taken to a Lincoln hospital and is expected to survive. Two others suffered minor injuries. 

The wreck shut down the highway overnight. It reopened at 4:00 a.m.

It's unclear if any charges will be filed.
