PLATTSMOUTH - Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reports a three-vehicle, injury accident at the intersection of Highway 75 and Rockbluff Road near Murray on Saturday.

A Toyota Camry driven by 64-year-old Kevin Coyne of Omaha and a Mercedes driven by 34-year-old Ingrid Rodriguez of Plattsmouth collided as the Toyota attempted to turn in the path of the Mercedes.

A sheriff’s office press release says the Mercedes clipped the front bumper of the Toyota and then hit a Mercury Milan driven by 21-year-old Hope Marino of Plattsmouth. The Mercury was sitting at a stop sign at Rockbluff Road.

The Mercedes and the Mercury sustained heavy damage in the accident. The Toyota had only minor damage. The passenger of the Mercedes was transported to UNMC Omaha for her injuries by Murray Rescue.
