An Omaha man is causing concerns about the problem of repeat offenders.
OMAHA, Neb. -- An Omaha man is causing concerns about the problem of repeat offenders.
According to authorities, Anthony Triplett has multiple offenses including assault and burglary.
Officials said Triplett has been convicted of lewd conduct, which is an offensive act of sexual nature, 24 times since 2012. The latest incident occurred earlier this month
Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine said prosecutors only have so many options with these kinds of repeat offenders. He said one option is to potentially go to Lincoln and try to change the laws and make a "lewd conduct" violation harsher.
According to officials, Triplett will be serving more jail time now.
