Detours advised for Hwy 136 near Tecumseh

TECUMSEH - The Nebraska Department of Transportation has scheduled a culvert replacement project on Highway 136 east of Tecumseh.

State crews will begin work on July 25 and expect to be complete in two weeks.

The transportation department has established a detour for the work period.

The department is also recognizing rural road safety awareness week July 18 to July 22.

The transportation department reminds motorists to slow down on rural roads, buckle up and stay alert for farm machinery.
