Peru State bowling signs Dane Conner for the 2022-23 season
(Peru, Neb.)—Earlier this summer Peru State bowling coordinator Brenda Lutz signed Dane Conner for the upcoming 2022-23 season. Conner is from Seward, Nebraska and went to Seward High School.
Conner is the son of Steve and Angie Conner. He plans to study business while attending Peru State College. Conner had a plethora of athletic achievements throughout his high school career. He was the Lincoln Journal Star Boys Bowler of the Year in 2021, in 2022 he was a nominee for the same award. In 2022 he placed 12th in the NSAA Individual State Championship, and he placed third in 2021 in the same event.
He was the District A.3 Champion in 2021 and 2022, he had a high game of 300 (which is a perfect game in bowling) and a high series of 769. Conner was Academic All-State as well.
Conner and his Bluejay teammates qualified as a team for the NSAA Team Championship. Seward went 1-2 in tournament play.
