Carnival, music festival, parades highlight River Country's Fourth of July

NEBRASKA CITY – River Country will celebrate Independence Day this July with music, parades and patriotism.
AUBURN
Auburn Summer Sounds will feature the Southeast Community Band and the Nemaha County & Area Choir on Friday, July 1, at Auburn Legion Memorial Park from 7 to 9 p.m.
NEBRASKA CITY
Nebraska City is hosting the Treestock music festival on Saturday, July 2, with events Sunday and Monday, July 4. Steinhart Park will host a carnival and fireworks on Saturday and a car show on Sunday.
Treestock will feature live music from Sheila Greenland, Mike Semrad & The Riverhawks, Bolzen Beer Band and The Wildwoods.
Other Sunday activities include a community worship service and the Pancake Man. Monday activities include legion baseball and golf scramble.
BROWNVILLE
The Brownville Freedom Celebration is scheduled Monday, July 4.
The event is highlighted by a freedom run, dog show, parade, patriotic program and fireworks cruise on the Spirit of Brownville.
MURRAY
The Murray Freedom Festival on July 4th features a 5K run, oozeball, car show, parade and fireworks display.
TECUMSEH
The Tecumseh Community Club is taking donations for a return of a fireworks display this year. Check in with Bruce Dalluge.
AUBURN
The Auburn Eagles will present a fireworks show at Irvin Park and the Auburn High School at 10 p.m. on the Fourth of July.
