Thunderstorm warning in River Country

8:44 p.m. – OPPD power outage map shows 75 outages in Cass County.

8:35 p.m.  – Radar indicates storm near Beaver Lake. Severe thunderstorm warning until 9:15 p.m. for Cass County, Neb. and Mills County, Iowa. Malvern and Interstate 29 in path of storm. Torrential rainfall is occurring. Large hail is potential threat.

8:11 p.m. – Severe thunderstorm warning for Johnson County until 9 p.m. Radar indicates storm near Filley moving NE at 30 mph. Crab Orchard, Sterling and Tecumseh in the path.

7:54 p.m. The public reports ¾ inch hail in Gage County.

7:45 p.m. NWS issues severe thunderstorm warning for Gage and Johnson counties. Radar indicated a storm capable of producing damaging winds and hail was located near Beatrice.
