OPD: investigating an Omaha injury shooting
Omaha Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person early Sunday.
OMAHA, Neb. -- Omaha Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person early Sunday.
Officials said that officers in the area of 75th and Crown Point Avenue heard numerous gunshots nearby.
OPD said that officers responded to 7575 Crown Point and saw occupants in a silver truck firing a gun.
Authorities said the suspects fired toward officers before leaving the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
A short time later, a 25-year-old man arrived at a local hospital with minor injuries from the shooting, OPD said.
Officials said that numerous vehicles were damaged by the gunfire during the incident.
