Warrant alleges sex offender registration violation

PERCIVAL - An arrest warrant has been issued in Otoe County for Dwayne Johnson, 54, formerly of Nehawka.

The warrant alleges that Johnson moved to Percival, Iowa, without notifications required under Nebraska’s sex offender registration act. The warrant also alleges that two of Johnson’s vehicles are registered under a different address than the Nebraska City residence he claims on the registration.

Johnson was sentenced to 180 days in jail and a year post-release supervision for attempted sexual assault  in August of 2020.
