OPD: man stabbed by woman at party

OMAHA, Neb. -- Authorities in the metro area are investigating a cutting early Thursday morning. 

Omaha Police are investigating a cutting that injured one person in the 2400 block of Maple Street. 

Officials said that officers responded to the area around 12 a.m. and found a 25-year-old man in the parking lot bleeding profusely. 

OPD said that it was determined that the man was stabbed by a woman during a party at the Maple Street address. 

According to police, the woman left the location in a red truck before officers arrived. 

Omaha Fire Department medics took the man to a local hospital, and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. 

This is an ongoing investigation.
