Sheriff suspects role in botched meth buy
Falls City woman reports being robbed in Topeka
FALLS CITY – A Richardson County probationer has been charged with a new conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine charge after a botched buy in Topeka, Kan.
The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office told the court they started a methamphetamine investigation in March and determined that suspects from Falls City went to Topeka in an attempt to buy two ounces of meth for $625.
After the arrest of 34-year-old Chase Ramer and 34-year-old Kimberly Hoagland on March 10, Hoagland told deputies she had been robbed of the $625.
The sheriff’s office suspects that Jordan Lunsford, 31, drove the car to Topeka for the transaction. He is currently serving a probation term for attempted delivery in 2020.
