Police looking for impaired drivers
Enforcement campaign begins April 18

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City police are participating in an impaired driving enforcement April 18-24.
The Nebraska Office of Highway Safety is funding additional, high-visibility patrols to look for impaired drivers behind the wheel.
According to the highway safety office, 6,412 drivers were arrested for DUI and there were 1,534 alcohol-related crashes in 2020. Among the alcohol-related crashes in Nebraska, there were 76 fatalities and 602 injuries.
