NEBRASKA CITY – Ryan Kurtzer, 42, of Syracuse entered a no contest plea Monday to possession of 24 grams of methamphetamine and joined with prosecutors with a recommendation of three years in prison.
Otoe County Attorney Jennifer Panko-Rahe said sheriff’s deputies had Kurtzer’s apartment building under surveillance and linked license plates on visiting vehicles to known drug users. She said a search of the apartment yielded 24 grams of meth and a scale.
She said a co-defendant in the case told investigators she was assisting Kurtzer in the distribution of methamphetamine.
Sentencing is scheduled July 11.
